One student has been stood down for two days for violence
When students misplace their school sunhats they will be asked to pay a portion to replace the hat. $3 for 2005. A note will be sent home for the ten students who have already misplaced their hats in room 6 and 7.
Bible In Schools is starting for this year on Monday 14 March. A donation of $5 is asked for to cover the cost of materials used. If you want your child to take part in this
Programme please fill in the proforma and return to the office by Friday this week.
Electoral Roll
Is available for viewing at the school office. There is a vacancy on the BOT; nominations for a Board member are being called for.
Lateness
There is a small group of students who are arriving at school late – when students walk into class late they disrupt the learning of the other students and they miss out as well. School starts at 5 to 9 and we expect all students to be ready to start learning at this time. Constant lateness is a truancy issue.
Bush Swimming Sports
A team of seventeen students from Room 6 and 7 represented Hillcrest School. The Board Chair Gareth McKay wished to pass onto these students and the parents how impressed he was with their behaviour, the way they swam their hearts out and the positive way they represented their school. The wider community could not help but be impressed by our students. Thank you!!
